2024 Pearl Qatar
This penthouse, overlooking Doha and its waters, is designed in a vibrant and cheerful mood. It started with a drop of honey, and so it continued. The spirit of the house is an open-plan living space, where all family can gather. Several seating areas and a dining area are designed in a free flow, allowing a balance between interaction with others and spending time at one’s own pace.

Artworks chosen for this space have a personal meaning for the clients – a conversation between contemporary calligraphy and Islamic miniature paintings.

The entrance area forms a part of the large living space. It is dressed up in a mix of textiles, and the protagonist is the wall hanging – embroidered fabric from Pierre Frey. A terracotta-spotted Beni rug adds softness and a welcoming touch to the arrival home.

The color scheme in the upper level transforms to light and peaceful. Shades of taupe, amber, and chocolate brown are setting the mood. Textured materials in neutral tones, only a few color splashes, and nothing is disturbing to disconnect here from elsewhere.

Soft pearl blush colors are used in the room for two young ladies. Only a few youthful touches, while most of the space is neutral and easily adaptable when the tastes of the young ladies will change.
